Licensing Requirements
All real estate licenses are obtained through the Oregon Real Estate Agency. The information below is provided on behalf of the Agency. Contact the Agency directly with any additional questions.

Renew Your Real Estate License:
2. Real Estate License Renewal – Your real estate license must be renewed every two years. The renewal date is the last day of your birth month, every two years after you have received your initial license. You must meet these requirements to renew:
i. Renew your Broker License
a. Complete a 3-hour Law and Rule Required Course (LARRC) from a Certified Continuing Education Provider, every license period.
b. Take a minimum of 27 additional continuing education (CE) hours in required topics from a Certified Continuing Education Provider.
IF YOU’RE RENEWING YOUR LICENSE FOR THE FIRST TIME: You must take the Advanced Practices course in lieu of the 27 hours of elective courses
c. Maintain this Continuing Education Record Form and keep all certificates of attendance for three years after the renewal of your license.
d. Go to eLicense to renew your license and pay the renewal fee.
ii. Renew your Principal Broker License
a. Complete a 3-hour Law and Rule Required Course (LARRC) from a Certified Continuing Education Provider, every license period.
b. Take a minimum of 27 additional continuing education (CE) hours in required topics from a Certified Continuing Education Provider.
c. Maintain this Continuing Education Record Form and keep all certificates of attendance for three years after the renewal of your license.
d. Go to eLicense to renew your license and pay the renewal fee.
